Abstract (en)
The post consists of a foot (10), anchored in the ground, and a relatively pivoted upright (1). The pivot axis (7) is located in the foot or near it within an area, which with normal installation of the post, is below ground level (15). A recess (3) is located near the foot, to accommodate the post when folded down. The recess is bricked, consists of a cast section, set into the ground, e.g. of concrete, or of a trough, pref. of metal. The side of the post away from the pivot axis is aligned with the trough when folded down. This side also has a cover (4) for the opening in the trough.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen umklappbaren Pfosten (1), z.B. für die wahlweise Freigabe oder Blockierung einer Einfahrt oder eines Parkplatzes, mit einem im Boden versenkbaren Fußteil (10) und einem um eine Achse (7) relativ zu dem Fußteil (10) verschwenkbaren Pfostenteil (1). Um einen umklappbaren Pfosten mit den eingangs genannten Merkmalen zu schaffen, bei welchem die Unfallgefahren im heruntergeklappten Zustand des Pfostens im wesentlichen beseitigt sind, ohne daß auffällige Kennzeichnungen des Pfostens erforderlich sind, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, daß die Position der Achse (7) an dem Fußteil (10) oder in der Nähe desselben in einem Bereich angeordnet ist, der bei normaler Installation des Pfostens unterhalb des Bodenniveaus (15) liegt, wobei bei montiertem Pfosten im Boden eine an das Fußteil (10) angrenzende Aussparung (3) zur Aufnahme des umgeklappten Pfostenteiles (1) vorgesehen ist. <IMAGE>
