Abstract (en)

The device (8) has an upper resting surface (10) for the frame trim of a door which opens outwards, and is secured to the trim by first fastening unit (11). It also has second fastening unit (12) for securing it to the sill, such that the surface forms a plane with the upper side of the sill. The sill may have a horizontal guide for a seal, and the body (9) of the device may have an projection (16), which can be slid into the guide. The device may also have at least one flange (11,12) for securing it to the sill and / or the frame trim.
