Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0723793A2] The box-shaped flatbed has a base (7), side (5) and transverse (6) walls and is supported by the chassis (1). The flatbed is mounted on the chassis near the corners so that it can be detached and locked. A lifting mechanism (9) consisting of movable elements is positioned between the transverse sides of the chassis. A steering column (14) is fixed to one element, and another steering column (14') to the other element. The facing ends of the steering columns form a joint swivel axle (21) on which is a slide element (23) mounted in a guide on the underside of the loading surface.
