[origin: DE19502291C1] The device incorporates a safety catch (7-9), to lock the crosshead of the press (11) when the restoring spring (6) fails. The catch has a locking element (8), located in the drive train (3-5,10) to the press crosshead. When the spring breaks, a stationary stop part (9) projects into the movement path of the locking element. The locking element is pivotally positioned between two stops. The restoring spring engages on a stationary part (1) of cutter and locking element. A trigger spring (7) of smaller spring force charges the locking element against the force of the restoring spring.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum Schneiden von blattförmigem Gut (2), mit einem Tisch (12) zur Aufnahme des Gutes, einem Messer zum Schneiden des Gutes und einem auf das zu schneidende Gut absenkbaren Preßbalken (11), wobei ein Antrieb (10) zum Absenken des Preßbalkens und eine Rückholfeder (6) zum Anheben des Preßbalkens vorgesehen sind. Bei einem Bruch der Rückholfeder kann der Preßbalken ungehindert absinken. Um für diesen Fall eine Gefährdung einer unterhalb des Preßbalkens das Gut manipulieren Person wirksam zu verhindern, wird eine Fangvorrichtung (7, 8, 9) vorgeschlagen, die in diesem Fall den Preßbalken arretiert. <IMAGE>
