The swivelling type-unit (4) incorporates a support bar (14) eccentrically positioned in relation to the centre line (16) of the stamp's printing area (17) parallel to the geometric pivot axle (15) of the adjusting wheel (13). The centre line runs along one edge (18) of the rectangular printing area on the central body (20). The support plate (5) is also eccentrically positioned in relation to the centre line along the edge of the other edge (19) of the printing area on the central body, parallel to the centre line.

Beschrieben ist ein Selbstfärbestempel (1) mit einem schwenkbaren Typenaggregat (4), das auf einer Tragplatte (5) angeordnete feststehende Stempeltypen (6) und auf mindestens einem schleifenförmigen Typenband (7) angeordnete, verstellbare Stempeltypen (8) aufweist, wobei das schleifenförmige Typenband (7) über ein an einem Zentralkörper (20) des Typenaggregates (4) drehbar gelagertes, dem Typenband (7) zugeordnetes Einstellrad (13) und über eine die jeweils zum Abdruck vorgesehene Stempeltype (8) des Typenbandes (7) unterstützende Stützleiste (14) geführt ist. Die Stützleiste (14) ist am Zentralkörper (20) exzentrisch bezüglich der parallel zur geometrischen Drehachse (15) der Einstellräder (13) verlaufenden Mittellinie (16) des Abdruckfeldes (17) des Stempels (1) längs des einen parallel zu dieser Mittellinie (16) verlaufenden Randes (18) des im wesentlichen rechteckigen Abdruckfeldes (17) angeordnet, und die Tragplatte (5) ist gleichfalls exzentrisch bezüglich dieser Mittellinie (16) längs des anderen parallel zu dieser Mittellinie (16) verlaufenden Randes (19) des Abdruckfeldes (17) am Zentralkörper (20) angeordnet. <IMAGE>
