Abstract (en)
The method of fixing a bank of pneumatic base plates (1) to a frame (5) has at each of the ends of the bank an end plate (10) having a connecting face (18) with end plate of the bank of base plates (1) which corresponds with that of the bank of base plates, and the method of connecting the feed and exhaust channels of the bank to respectively, a pressure source and exhaust chamber associated with the frame (5). It is characterised in that the unit contains two hollowed out and parallel transverse arms (7,8) whose interior space in one of them, is in communication with the exhaust chamber of the frame (5). Each possesses a face (7a,8a) extending in a common plane forming the mounting plane of the end plates of the bank of base plates (1) and having on this face, ports (22,23) which connect with the interior spaces of each end plate (10). This facing plane (20) is at right angles to the mating plane (18) of the end plate (10) with the face (20) of the base plates (1). An internal,porting (21a) in the end plate (10) joins the exhaust port in the bank (1) to the exhaust chamber in the frame (5) via the ports (22,23) in the corresponding transverse arms.

Le dispositif de fixation comporte un embout (10) qui est juxtaposable par une face (18) à une embase (1) d'extrémité de batterie et qui comporte une face (20) perpendiculaire à la face (18) qui comprend les orifices (21a) de canaux internes (21) formant collecteurs des canaux (14) d'échappement des embases, ces orifices (21a) étant placés en regard d'orifices (22) pourvus dans une traverse (7) creuse pour conduire les gaz d'échappement collectés dans un pot de détente appartenant à un bâti auquel l'espace intérieur de la traverse creuse (7) est relié. <IMAGE>
