[origin: EP0724191A1] A photographic material is disclosed comprising a support and on at least one side thereof at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer characterised in that said material comprises at least one hydrophilic colloid layer, comprising a dispersion of at least two dyes: at least one dye being a merostyryl dye and the at least one other dye being an oxonol dye, wherein both dyes are soluble at a pH value above 8.0 and insoluble at a pH value below 6.0, and wherein at least said oxonol dye is in the form of a microprecipitated dispersion. Preparation methods of said dispersions are disclosed as well as a method of processing said photographic material, said method comprising the steps of developing, fixing, rinsing and drying, within a total processing cycle of less than 60 seconds.
