[origin: DE4336675C1] A cleaning apparatus for hulls, in particular of sailing and motor yachts, is described. To avoid contamination of sewers and bodies of water by the accumulating dirty water, a container-shaped receptacle (1) which can be carried by a trailer is provided as cleaning apparatus. The receptacle (1) has swing-out wall parts (2, 2') and corner plates (7) for forming a run-off surface inclined slightly inwards, a bottom box (3) covered by an accessible lattice bottom (4), a device arranged on the lattice bottom (4) for jacking up the hull, a steam/hot-water generator, and a dirty-water purifying device (14). In this system, the steam is delivered via a pipeline into one or more manual spray hoses, and the dirty water is returned in circulation from the bottom box (3) via a pipeline (15) and the dirty-water purifying device (14) into the steam/hot-water generator. <IMAGE>
