[origin: WO9511348A1] A device for injecting a fluid medium, in particular a setting building material, has a pipe (5) for receiving a propelling charge (11) and the fluid medium to be injected (10). A movable expelling piston (12) that seals the areas of the propelling charge and the medium is arranged between the propelling charge (11) and the medium (10). After the medium (10) to be injected is expelled, the expelling piston (12) is caught in the muzzle area of the pipe (5), substantially sealing said muzzle area. The shot signature, i.e. the muzzle flash and blast, is thus drastically reduced.
