Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0724848A1] A protective glove for use by the fire brigade and other emergency services has an outer layer made of a heat resistant textile fibre (17) with low heat conductivity, and an intermediate layer (16) made of cut and stitch-resistant fibres (e.g. p-aramid fibres). A heat-resistant inner lining (14), made of e.g. 'Goretex' (RTM) membrane coated with heat resistant material, is also provided.
