Before each sheet of paper is transferred to the feed cylinder, the pressure parts bend the end of the gripper bridge in the direction of sheet movement. The bending is maintained until the sheet transfer is completed. The pressure parts may be adjustable. The gripper bridge can have adjustable stops (6), which act with the pressure parts. The feed cylinder can be adjustable in the circumferential direction. All adjustments are by remote control.
