Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0725210A1] The unit incorporates a suction line with at least two suction line openings (5,6), of which one (6) leads to the IC engine via a line of constant cross-section. The other opening (5) connects to the engine via a rotary slide valve. The valve consists of a tubular section with a central wall on a dia. along its length. The valve is symmetrical about its rotation axis. The rotary valve is mounted in a flange on the suction module in such a way that it can float to centralise itself in the valve opening.
