[origin: EP0725503A1] The receiver incorporates two tuners (1, 2) between its antenna (1) and a microprocessor (3) which stores the programme schedule and the programme service names of RDS data in a first memory (4). The traffic information and its programme schedule are stored in a second memory (5). The broadcast programme, to which the first tuner is tuned, is reproduced on an audio line (21) to a loudspeaker (8). According to the mode selected by an input unit (10), the microprocessor also outputs currently received RDS data from the second tuner, either on a visual display (9) or through a speech synthesizer (7) feeding the same loudspeaker.
