Abstract (en)
The applicator consists of a holder (3) with an inner heater for the wax (5), a reservoir (6) for the molten wax, and a dispenser (11) in the form of an endless flexible band passing round rollers (12) situated in the reservoir - one at the bottom and the other at the top. The reservoir also contains a support (13) with an aperture in it to receive a block of wax. The rollers round which the band passes can be adjusted to maintain the band under the required tension, and the band is made from an elastomer material with a reinforcing core of polyester. The heater can be housed in a transparent material. In a variant the dispenser band can be turned automatically by a drive motor and pulley.

L'invention concerne un applicateur de cire à épiler comprenant un boîtier de préhension (3) à l'intérieur duquel est logé un réservoir (6) destiné à recueillir la cire fondue, des moyens de chauffe (4) associés à des moyens de régulation thermique et destinés à faire fondre une charge de cire (5). Conformément à l'invention, ledit applicateur comprend des moyens d'acheminement (1) de ladite cire dont au moins une portion baigne dans la cire lorsque celle-ci est fondue et une autre portion circule hors du boîtier (3), lesdits moyens (1) permettant l'acheminement de la cire fondue, indépendamment de la position dudit applicateur, depuis le réservoir (6) vers la portion des moyens d'acheminement (1) circulant hors du boîtier (3) par l'entremise d'une ouverture calibrée (8a) prévue au niveau de l'embout (8) du boîtier (3). <IMAGE>
