[origin: DE19504087C1] The wall unit, for a sauna cabin, has a base body (1) of plastics and pref acrylic, with at least one seat step (3) with an integrated rigid component (4), which at least partially forms the seating surface (6) or a step surface (5). The component (4) is of natural of synthetic stone, or fracture-resistant glass or glass ceramics. The wall unit has a laminated reinforcement of plastics with glass fibres.

Ein Wandelement für Dampfkabinen mit einem Grundkörper (1) aus Kunststoff, vorzugsweise aus Acryl, wobei der Grundkörper (1) eine Sitzstufe (2) und eine Trittstufe (3) aufweist ist zur Erhöhung der Sicherheit des Nutzers und zur Verringerung einer Abnutzung derart ausgestaltet und weitergebildet, daß entweder in die Trittstufe (3) oder in die Sitzstufe (2) ein anorganisch-nichtmetallisches Bauteil (4) integriert ist und daß das Bauteil (4) zumindest partiell entweder die Trittfläche (5) der Trittstufe (3) oder die Sitzfläche (6) der Sitzstufe (2) ausbildet. <IMAGE>
