Abstract (en)
A process is for finishing the ironing surface (2) of an iron base (1) made of a thin metal sheet. The inside (4) of the base (1) can be fastened on an iron shoe (6) in a way that ensures good conductivity of heat. The outside of the base (1) forms the ironing surface (2). Before the fastening of the base (1) to the shoe (1), the finishing process is carried out by means of sandblasting. Both the inside (4) and the outside (2) of the base (1) are blasted.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Bearbeiten der Bügelfläche (4) einer aus Blech geringer Dicke hergestellten Bügeleisensohle (1), deren Innenseite (4) an einem mit einer elektrischen Heizung (8) versehenen Bügeleisenschuh (6) gut wärmeleitend befestigbar ist. Die untere Oberfläche der Bügeleisensohle (1) bildet die Bügelfläche (2) und die obere Oberfläche die Innenseite (4). Während des Herstellvorgangs des Bügeleisens, also vor der Befestigung der Bügeleisensohle (1) an dem Bügeleisenschuh (6), erfolgt eine Bearbeitung der Oberflächen (2, 4) durch Bestrahlen mittels fester körniger Teilchen (16), insbesondere durch Sandstrahlen. Dabei werden sowohl die Innenseite (4) als auch die Bügelfläche (2) der Bügeleisensohle (1) zu gleicher Zeit und in gleicher Höhe bestrahlt. <IMAGE>
