[origin: EP0726423A2] Seal in which the underside has an engagement foot (13) which projects into a circumferential crimp (24) on the door inner side or on the muffle flange (2) and especially at the corners is pressed into the accommodating space (23). The space is made into a slotted opening by cutting and bending upwards the opposite edge regions (25,26) of the groove (24). A continuous hollow chamber (130) is formed in the cross-section of the foot region (131) of the engagement foot.
