The extraction hood has recesses (14) with extra extraction openings (11b) provided in the region of the extraction surface. The cross-sectional surface of the openings is greater than the surface allotted to the recesses in the extraction surface (1). The filter element (13) is arranged immediately behind the extraction surface. The airflow passing through the extra extraction openings is also led through the filter element.

Eine Dunst-Abzugshaube zur Anordnung oberhalb wenigstens einer Dunstquelle weist eine Ansaugfläche einer ersten Ansaugöffnung 11a auf, von der die Dünste entlang eines Luftstromweges in eine Abzugsleitung 12 geleitet werden sowie ein im Luftstromweg hinter der Ansaugfläche 11 angeordnetes Filterelement. Dadurch, daß im Bereich der Ansaugfläche 11 Vertiefungen 14 mit zusätzlichen Ansaugöffnungen vorgesehen sind, deren Querschnittsfläche größer ist als die Fläche, die in der Ansaugfläche 11 auf die Vertiefungen 14 entfällt, wird die Kondenswasserbildung verringert. <IMAGE>
