[origin: EP0726424A2] The extraction hood has recesses (14) with extra extraction openings (11b) provided in the region of the extraction surface. The cross-sectional surface of the openings is greater than the surface allotted to the recesses in the extraction surface (1). The filter element (13) is arranged immediately behind the extraction surface. The airflow passing through the extra extraction openings is also led through the filter element.
