In a method of repairing a metallurgical vessel in the region of its tapping pipe (4), a tapping pipe is inserted from below into the brickwork (2/11) and held in place and then the gap between the pipe and the brickwork is filled below with a filling material. Also claimed is an arrangement for carrying out the method with a pressure plate (12) on which the pipe can be placed, with dia. greater than the outside dia. of the gap. The pressure plate has an aperture (15) through which the filling material can be inserted.

Bei einem Verfahren und einer Vorrichtung zur Reparatur eines metallurgischen Gefäßes (1) im Bereich (3) seines Abstichrohrs wird ein Abstichrohr (4) eingesetzt und der zwischen dem Mauerwerk (2) des metallurgischen Gefäßes (1) und dem Abstichrohr (4) bestehende Spalt (13) wird mit einer Verfüllmasse (5) ausgefüllt. Zur Vereinfachung und Verbesserung des Verfahrens und der Vorrichtung wird das Abstichrohr (4) von unten in das Mauerwerk (2) eingeschoben und mittels einer Andruckplatte (12) gehalten. Anschließend wird der Spalt (13) von unten durch die Andruckplatte (12) hindurch von unten nach oben aufsteigend mit der Verfüllmasse (5) aufgefüllt. <IMAGE>
