[origin: EP0726624A1] The interface device has a printed circuit board (2) which is mounted on a base (1) having a central body (10) and upper and lower longitudinal flanks (11,12). An interface unit (4) incorporates upper and lower terminal blocks (5,6). The upper terminal block (5) has a forward row of aligned terminals connected by plugs at the back to the printed circuit. A supplementary terminal block (7) dissociated from the interface unit and circuit board can be mounted under the base and retained by clips (77) into grooves (14,15) in the underside of the lower flank.
