[origin: WO9409690A1] When paper is pulled out from a vertically arranged roll of household paper (6) it is screwed up and must be flattened before it can be used for wiping purposes. This is because the roll (6) is unwound from the inside and outwards. According to the invention, substantially flat paper (5) can be obtained if the paper (5) is unwound from the outside and inwards and if the paper (5) is allowed to pass the edge of a disc (8) having a diameter larger than that of a full roll of paper.
