[origin: DE4431044A1] The novel gas distribution device (1) has a common gas supply line (70) with an internal supply aperture (71), designed to supply gas to several devices (2) arranged, for example, in series, forming a basic body and a number of connectors (7) corresponding to the number of fuel-gas mixture injection devices (2) which extend perpendicularly outwards from the gas supply line (70) and contain branch apertures (73) directly connected to the supply aperture (71). A fixed connection between the gas distribution device (1) and the devices (2) is provided in that on the gas containing bodies (3) at least partially surrounding the devices (2) there are gas inlet channels (13) having functional components (52) projecting into the connectors (7) of the gas distribution device (1). The gas is provided in the supply aperture (71) for all the devices (2) at the same time and then flows via a connector (7) to a device (2). The gas distribution device (1) thus takes the form of a very compact unit which can be fitted and removed very easily. The gas distribution device of the invention is particularly suitable for fuel injection systems of mixture-compressing spark-ignition internal combustion engines.
