[origin: EP0727265A1] The conveyor moves a length of connectors away from a connector forming device, which forms the connectors into a C- shape. The conveyor units incorporate correction members (22), which act forming on the connectors after the first forming process. The correction members incorporate stretcher elements (23), which act on the connectors in axial direction. The stretchers incorporate two toothed gears (26,27), and the tooth meshing positions of the gears into the connectors, are relatively adjustable. The front gear is turnable on its shaft (28) relative to the rear gear, into stretching position.
