The holder is based on a support (8) with paraxial guide rails (11) cooperating with counterparts (12) pivotable in ball bearings about an axis (13) on an arm (7). The support carries three resilient and axially movable pins (9) with suction heads (10) at their ends. The workpiece (16) is centred without parallax by an inspection unit (6) with the already machined optical surface (17) held against an annular abutment (18) defining a plane for visualisation on a pref. transparent LCD screen. The holder is movable from the centred position by a pivot drive (14) and a vertical adjustment drive (15).

Vorrichtung zum Anbringen eines Halteteils auf einer optischen Oberfläche (17) eines Brillenglasrohlings (16) vor dem Einsetzen des Brillenglasrohlings (16) in eine Brillenglasbearbeitungsmaschine mit wenigstens einer Betrachtungseinheit (6) zum parallaxenfreien Zentrieren des Brillenglasrohlings (16), wenigstens einer Haltevorrichtung (8,9,10) für den Brillenglasrohling (16) beim Zentrieren und einem Bewegungsantrieb (14,15,27,28,29) für die Haltevorrichtung (8,9,10) zum Bewegen des Brillenglasrohlings (16) aus der Zentrierposition in eine Position zum Anbringen des Halteteils. <IMAGE>
