Abstract (en)
The sweeper (1) has a motor-driven rotary brush (2), and a motor-driven conveyor worm (4) in front of it. The rotary brush has an initial diameter (D1) of approx. 30-100 cm, and a bristle length of approx. 10-40 cm. It is driven at such a speed, that it generates an air flow between itself and the take-in aperture (45) of a sweepings collection container (3/38). The container is simultaneously formed as conveyor and flow channel, and the air flow extends to its discharge aperture. The conveyor worm consists of a radial metal plate helix around a central cylindrical hollow. It is enclosed via a small relative distance by a cylindrical jacket pipe (38), which is closed at one end. The take-in aperture extends across at least 1/5 of the jacket pipe circumference.

Es sind Kehrvorrichtungen (1) für Arbeitsfahrzeuge (9) mit einer rotierend angetriebenen Borstenwalze (2) bekannt, die oberseitig durch ein Schutzgehäuse abgedeckt ist und vor der eine parallel zur Borstenwalze (2) verlaufende Förderschnecke (4) angeordnet ist, die motorisch antreibbar in einem mit einer rückseitigen Einwurföffnung und am Schneckenende mit einer Auslaßöffnung versehenen Kehrgutauffanggehäuse (3) angeordnet ist, wobei das Kehrgutauffangehäuse (3) unterhalb seiner Einwurföffnung ein schräg nach unten gerichtetes Leitblech mit einer flexiblen Bodenleiste (51) aufweist. Zur Verbesserung die Wirkungsweise und Kehrleistung insbesondere bei höheren Fahrgeschwindigkeiten wird die Borstenwalze (2) mit einer solchen Drehgeschwindigkeit angetrieben, daß sie in dem zwischen ihr und der Einwurföffnung des Kehrgutauffanggehäuses (3) liegenden Bereich einen Luftstrom erzeugt, der sich in dem zugleich als Förderschale und Strömungskanal ausgebildeten Kehrgutauffanggehäuse (3) bis zu dessen Auslaßöffnung fortsetzt. <IMAGE>
