Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0727528A1] The sweeper (1) has a rotary brush (2) with motor drive. The brush is coupled via a jointed shaft coupling (32) to a drive shaft (6) of the motor drive, for torque transmission. On the bearing side, the brush with/without its carrier element (9), can be pivoted out of its carrier unit about the coupling, for dismantling. A central bearing shaft with approx. square cross section, is located coaxially to the rotary brush. It is connected on the bearing side to a bearing journal (41). The carrier elements (9) are formed as walls. The bearing-sided wall has an open mounting slot for the bearing journal.
