Abstract (en)
The implement, designed to handle modular cylindrical charges (6(1)-6(6)), consists of a receiving section (8) for the charges, shaped to fit inside the chamber (2) of the artillery piece barrel (1). The charges are released from the implement prior to firing by rotating the implement relative to the chamber, using a handle (9) on its outer end. The receiving section of the implement is in the shape of a trough forming a portion of a cylinder greater than 180 deg., and with a charge positioner and the handle at one end. It is made from a composition material of glass fibres in epoxy resin, with a conducting material to release electrostatic charges. The length of the trough is more or less the same as that of the chamber.

Dispositif d'aide au chargement ou au déchargement d'un canon d'artillerie de campagne à l'aide de charges uni-modulaires cylindriques ou de gargousses, caractérisé en ce qu'il est constitué d'un moyen de réception (8) des charges (61-66) actionnable manuellement qui est apte à s'engager dans la chambre (2) du canon (1) et à libérer ledites charges avant la mise à feu. <IMAGE>
