Abstract (en)
The applicator comprises a container (1) for the cosmetic (9). In the upper part of the container is an opening (3), forming a drier, and a plug (4). The plug has a rod (5) which has a brush (6) at its end. During closure of the container the brush is immersed inside the container passing through the drier. Above the brush the rod has a deformable cleaning part (11) whose diameter is equal to the diameter of the drier. This cleaner is constituted by a small thickness brush or a flexible drilled diaphragm. The portion of the rod (5a) located between the opening and the brush is such that it allows balancing of the pressures existing inside and outside the container before, during retraction, the brush engages in the drier.

L'invention est relative à un applicateur de produit cosmétique tel qu'un applicateur de mascara, du type comportant un récipient (1) pour contenir le produit cosmétique (9), ledit récipient étant muni à sa partie supérieure d'un rétreint (3) formant essoreur, et un bouchon (4) muni d'une tige (5) comportant à son extrémité une brosse (6) qui, lors de la fermeture du récipient, plonge à l'intérieur de ce dernier en passant à travers le rétreint. La tige (5) comporte, au-dessus de la brosse (6) un organe de nettoyage (11) déformable élastiquement et dont le diamètre est au moins sensiblement égal au diamètre du rétreint (3), la portion de la tige (5a) située entre l'organe de nettoyage (11) et la brosse (6) étant telle qu'elle permet d'équilibrer sensiblement les pressions régnant à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur du récipient 1 avant que, lors de son retrait, la brosse (6) s'engage dans le rétreint (3). <IMAGE>
