[origin: EP0728860A1] The characteristic features in a looped material comprising loop-forming yarns bonded-on to a stitched or woven base contg. multifilament yarns of at least 2 components (A) and (B) as well as accompanying yarns (C) are that (i) filament (A) is texturised and is of m.pt. above 180 degrees C while filament (B) is of m.pt. below 220 degrees C such that the m.pt. of (B) is at least 20 degrees C below that of (A), and (ii) wt. ratio (A):(B) is 20:80-80:20 and 0-40 wt.% (C) is present.
