[origin: EP0728889A1] The fastening is used on hollow mouldings, especially on a door or window, in which components are held against the external walls of the moulding, by at least one screw. The screw is retained by a fastening block which can be inserted behind the moulding wall, and which has at least one threaded hole (14). On the inside of the hollow moulding, the block is supported elastically on both sides, normal to its insertion direction (E) and parallel to the wall. It may be guided to the correct position relative to the hole in the moulding through which the screw passes.
