Abstract (en)
Plug used for gas discharge lamp includes at least one electrical interference suppressor (38, 40) to prevent propagation of electromagnetic interference from the lamp to connecting cables (25). The suppressor is located within a housing (36, 37) which is filled at least partly with an electrically insulating casting material. A mass of elastic material (62) is provided between at least part of the periphery of the suppressor(s) and the adjacent housing and/or adjacent casting material. Elastic material is pref. a permanently elastic plastic, partic. silicone. Suppressor or suppressors may be mounted on a printed circuit board (42).
Abstract (de)
Der Stecker (24) weist ein zweiteiliges Gehäuse (36,37) auf, in dem eine Leiterplatte (42) mit elektrischen Entstörelementen (38,40) angeordnet ist, durch die eine Ausbreitung der durch die Gasentladungslampe während ihres Betriebs erzeugten elektromagnetischen Störstrahlung verhindert wird. An einem Teil des Umfangs wenigstens eines Entstörelements (38,40) ist zwischen diesem und dem angrenzenden Gehäuseteil (37) eine Masse (62) aus einem dauerhaft elastischen Material wie Silikon aufgebracht. Anschließend wird der Innenraum des Gehäuses (36,37) mit einer Vergußmasse aus einem elektrisch isolierenden Material gefüllt, in die auch die elastische Masse (62) eingeschlossen wird. Durch die elastische Masse (62) ist das Entstörelement (38,40) gegenüber dem Gehäuse (36,37) und der Vergußmasse entkoppelt, so daß eine Wärmeausdehnung des Entstörelements (38,40) ermöglicht ist und sich außerdem Erschütterungen des Steckers (24) nicht starr auf dieses übertragen. <IMAGE>
