The keyboard of such as a cash register is constructed using two types of push button operated keys, namely those having a long stroke Ä4Ü and those having a short stroke Ä5Ü. Both keys are of a lever Ä9Ü type that are shaped at one end to act as a pivot point and have formed stops Ä16Ü that limit the range of movement. The lever and push button are integrated into a single unit. The tips of the key levers have a switch pad Ä17Ü that engages the projection on a circuit mat Ä18Ü when the push button is operated.

2.1 Derartige Tastenfelder werden für Verkaufs- und Registrierkassen benötigt. Diese weisen Langhub- und Kurzhubtasten auf, deren Anordnung immer einer konstruktiven Überarbeitung für ungewöhnliche Kundenanordnungen bedarf. 2.2 Hiergegen weist das neue Tastenfeld die Merkmale auf, daß bei einheitlichem Tastenabstand aller Tasten (3) die Kurzhub-Tasten als Wipptaste (5) mit kurzem Tastenhebelarm (7) und langem Schalthebelarm (8) und die Langhubtasten als Wipptaste (4) mit langem Tasten- und kurzem Schalthebelarm (7, 8) ausgeführt sind, wobei im montierten Zustand die Taste (3) der Langhub-Wipptaste (4) innerhalb einer Hebelgabelung (9) der jeweils benachbarten Langhub-Wipptaste (4) liegt. 2.3 Hierdurch liegt ein Tastenfeld vor, das mit geringem Aufwand Kundenanforderungen angepaßt werden kann. <IMAGE>
