[origin: WO9608727A1] Position and/or speed incremental sensor of the type comprising a movable element (1) of a soft material having at least one tooth movable in a direction OY opposite a permanent magnet (9) magnetized in a direction OZ substantially perpendicular to the OY axis and a probe (10) sensitive to the direction and the intensity of a magnetic field, such as a Hall probe, arranged in the air gap between the magnet (9) and the tooth of the movable element so that its more sensitive axis is substantially directed along the OZ axis. The Hall probe (10) is located in the vicinity of a singular point along the OZ axis, wherein the average value of the magnetic field is low and preferably less than +/- 20mT and is essentially equal to the switching field average value of the integrated circuit associated with the Hall probe.
