[origin: EP0729851A1] The spring folder has a front and a rear cover which are of one piece construction and hinged together, being foldable in relation to each other along at least one bend line. For alignment of the documents, there are at least two flexible alignment tongues head from the rear cover to the front cover. The free ends of the alignment tongues are insertable in accommodations of the front cover and devices are provided for the secure holding of the free ends of the alignment tongues in the accommodations of the front cover. The devices for holding the alignment tongues (2, 3) are thickened formations (4, 5) and narrow openings (6, 7) in the accommodations (8, 9). In the accommodations one or more slots lead away from the openings.
