Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0729873A2] The equipment seals a tube (3) against a rod (2) which can slide inside it, and which is also able to rotate relative to it. A sleeve (4) with a diameter which is greater than that of the tube, is arranged in the region of one of its ends. A sliding drip ring (8) with an annular seal (9) is arranged on the rod so that the sleeve and the ring form a double-sided water drainage system, and may have axial drip edges (12,13) which are cantilevered outwards. Each end region of the sleeve may have holes (10,11).
