Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0730067A1] The walling material, esp. for providing insulation, consists of an inner layer (8) of a rigid material such as plaster panels, the outer surface of which is sprayed to form a vapour barrier film (10). This is covered by a layer (11) of a thermal insulation material based on mineral fibres and a binding agent. It is at least 1 cm thick and sprayed onto the film layer (10) so that it adheres to it, and is covered by an outer, continuous rainproof layer made from a micro-porous water-impermeable resin, sprayed onto the outer surface of the thermal insulation layer and penetrating it to a depth of at least 1 cm. The vapour barrier film (10) is pref. latex-based and at least 150 micron thick; the thermal insulation layer has a density of 200/250 kg/m<3>, and the rainproof micro-porous resin layer is based on methacrylic resin.
