[origin: EP0730070A1] The walkway consists of two side members, e.g. in the form of aluminium extrusions, assembled without welding with decking members (2) and two end cross-members. Each of the side members has a recess (4) at the bottom to receive the ends of the decking members, one part of the recess having a projecting rib (13) to engage with a matching groove (14) in the decking member. Each of the end cross-members holds the decking members in place and is fixed to one end of the side members by bolts or cables inserted into lengthwise tubular reinforcements (6, 7) running the length of the side members.
