Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0730092A1] The pump has a support (13) with a bush (19) which is at least partly arranged inside it. It also has a piston (43) which moves along an axis (8) to and from a primary outlet (10). The inner surface (13b) of the support lies against the outer surface (19a) of the bush in places, and elsewhere they are separated by a gap (61). A secondary outlet (11) is also arranged on the support, together with an inlet (9) which is connected to it by the gap. The secondary outlet is connected to the gap at a point which is at an axial distance from the place at which the inlet is connected to it, in order for the fluid passing between them to cool the bush. The entire length of the bush may be located in an internal space which is enclosed in the cross section of the support.
