Abstract (en)
The cooler/condenser consists of a heat exchanger with a battery of parallel tubes with transverse fins, and nozzles (12) for spraying an auxiliary liquid onto the outer surface of the tubes and fins, with a blower for forming a gas flow. The tube battery (8) of the exchanger (7) is inclined at an angle of 5 - 60 degrees to the vertical, with the nozzles situated above it, while the gas flow is basically horizontal, so that it passes through the auxiliary liquid spray before entering the exchanger. Each of the nozzles produces a pyramid-shaped spray directed at right angles to the tube battery, and positioned to produce a homogenous spray over the whole exchanger surface.

Le dispositif de refroidissement d'un fluide ou de condensation d'une vapeur selon l'invention comprend un échangeur de chaleur (7) dont la batterie de tubes (8) à ailettes transversales est inclinée d'un angle (α) de 5 à 60° et par rapport à la verticale , des buses de pulvérisation (12) disposées au-dessus de l'échangeur (7) et des moyens de formation d'un flux gazeux ayant une direction (F) sensiblement horizontale , en sorte que ledit flux traverse d'abord le liquide auxiliaire pulvérisé avant de pénétrer dans l'échangeur (7) De préférence les tubes (8) de l'échangeur sont pourvus d'ailettes internes de faible hauteur de 0,2 à 0,3mm. <IMAGE>
