[origin: WO9611844A1] The packing machine has a chamber (2) in which is fitted a flat substrate (10) for the goods to be packed. Said device (10) runs virtually parallel to the base (12) of the chamber and its height in relation to the chamber base (12) is adjustable. The machine also has a roller conveyor (5) arranged on the outside of the machine frame in the region of the vacuum chamber outlet. The substrate (10) can be adjusted while maintaining its position parallel to the chamber base (12) in such a way that one of its end sections is allocated to the roller conveyor (5).
