[origin: EP0730955A1] The extractor and holder (2) is positioned on the rotary gear tower (1) of the plate cylinder (4), and has a container (8) for the front and back edges of the printing plate (3). The container cooperates with a locking element (16) on the extractor and holder. Adjustments bring the container and locking element out of and into a holder position, and consists of a swivel mounted operating cylinder (21) and adjusting lever (18), a coupling (17) on the lever. An operating lever (13) is positioned on the coupling, with a fixed operating lever (11).
