Abstract (en)

The machine has individual appliances (1-5) for folding, punching, reinforcing, edge treating, etc. The appliances are modular, and each has a control device (10). These are connected to each other via data busses (11), and may also be connected to a superior control device (6). There are interfaces (9), to enable the module control devices or the superior device, to communicate with processing stations located in front or behind, e.g. plotters, stackers, etc. or CAD-systems. The machine is supplied with signals indicating appliance conditions, type or size of material to be folded, by operator keyboards (8) or the appliances.

Abstract (de)

Eine Faltmaschine für das Falten von Materialbahnen in Längs- und Querrichtung, bei der das Längsfaltteil, eine Heftrandbearbeitung und der Querfaltteil in einem gemeinschaftlichen Gehäuse angeordnet sind und vorzugsweise der Auslauf für längsgefaltete Zeichnungen und der Transport zum Querfalter innerhalb des Untergestell des Gehäuses vorgesehen sind, sollen so weitergebildet werden, daß die Faltmaschine auf einfache Weise an unterschiedliche Anfordnungen angepaßt werden kann. Dazu wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Einzelaggregate in Modulbauweise ausgeführt sind, die jeweils eine Steuervorrichtung aufweisen, die über Datenbusse miteinander sowie ggfs. mit einer übergeordneten Steuervorrichtung verbindbar sind. <IMAGE>
