Abstract (en)
This original process cleans a continuously advanced web of textile (1) using an active washing fluid (3). This bonds strongly to, and is highly absorbed by the soiling to be washed out, yet has no affinity for the textile fibres. It includes chemical foaming agents activated by steam. Immediately following application, steam treatment produces active, foam, the steam (6) being blasted through the rear of the textile under high pressure against resistance. Pref. the steam also propels fluid, and during or after treatment suction (9,10) is applied to the outer nap (2) of the cloth, in proportion to the steam supply, urged in under pressures of 2-10 bar. Also claimed is a device for the purpose described.

Bei dem neuen Waschverfahren wird die mit einem waschaktiven Fluid genetzte Warenbahn mit einem Dampf zum Schäumen gebracht, der vorzugsweise von der Rückseite einer polförmigen Warenbahn mit hohem Druck aus einem quer über die Warenbahn sich erstreckenden Düsenschlitz gegen die und durch die Warenbahn geblasen wird. Der dabei blitzartig sich bildende Schaum wird anschließend zusammen mit noch in dem Flor vorhandener Flüssigkeit von der Polseite der Warenbahn abgesaugt. <IMAGE>
