Abstract (en)
A process for handling dye during the coating of paper web has the following steps: feeding of dye; its intermediate storage and application of partial vacuum while stored; filtering; transport of dye in greater excess to that needed to coat the web; coating the web with dye, and return of the excess dye to the intermediate store. Also claimed is plant for implementing the process comprising a vacuum container (3) with a driven rotary mixer (6); a conduit (2) discharging from the container for the supply of dye; a vacuum pipe (9) opening into the container for the prodn. and maintenance of the partial vacuum; a flow pipe (12) discharging from the container and passing through a filter (14); dye coating appts. (15) connected to the flow pipe for the application of dye to the web (18) and: a return conduit (16) connecting the coating appts. to the container.

Die in einer Streichfarben-Auftragseinrichtung (15) auf eine Papier-Bahn (18) aufzubringende Streichfarbe wird mit hohem Überschuß im Kreis über einen Vakuum-Misch-Behälter (3) geführt, der mit Teil-Vakuum beaufschlagbar ist, wodurch eine gute Entlüftung der Streichfarbe bewirkt wird. <IMAGE>
