Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0731225A1] The wall-section is esp. for a sanitary installation, the cross-member fitting between two uprights of the section frame and accommodating one or more pipes. Connectors (111) join the ends of the member body (105) to the uprights, and parts of their surfaces overlap the body ends. Elastic damping members (112) fit between the overlapping surfaces, and damping fixing devices (100) pass through the member body, the damping members and the connectors at the ends. The connectors can be of stepped cross-section with parallel end flanges, one (113) overlapping the body and the other (114) fitting on to the frame member. Each damping member can comprise a body of plastics or pref. rubber, while each fixing device can consist of a plastics screw, rivet or clip.
