Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0731245A2] The closure comprises a plate-like body (2) having a circumferential flange (5) for bearing on the outside of the wall facing the water and round the entire perimeter a first groove (6) holding an inflatable hose (7) of rubber elastic material. When inflated the hose projects out of the groove to adjoin the surface of the wall defining the window or door opening. A sealing ring (11) can be fixed on the inside of the flange. The plate like body can have on the inside of an outer cover plate (9) forming the flange a frame containing the circumferential first groove. The plate- like body is solid and in one piece. A non-return valve (12) is provided for inflating the hose.
