The device comprises an insert housing (1) which has a guide socket (4) on the side opposite to the air intake (2), for a guide rod (5) on the closure plate (7). It also has a closure spring (6) formed as a memory spring, enclosing the guide rod. In open position, the plate is retained on the associated housing side by a heat-sensitive adhesive (8). The closure spring is fastened with one end to the guide socket, and with the other end to the foot of the guide rod and/or the closure plate. The housing cover (11) is enclosed by fire-resistant plates (16).

Es handelt es sich um eine Feuerschutz-Absperrvorrichtung mit einem Einbaugehäuse, welches eine Lufteintrittsöffnung und eine Luftaustrittsöffnung aufweist und dessen Lufteintrittsöffnung mittels eines federbeaufschlagten Absperrorgans absperrbar ist. Das Absperrorgan ist als Schließteller ausgebildet. Die Schließfeder ist als Memory-Feder und folglich als eine Schließfeder mit einem Formgedächtnis ausgebildet. Dadurch ist die Schließfeder bei Raumtemperatur zusammengezogen und hält den Schließteller in Offenstellung, während sich die Schließfeder im Brandfall infolge der Wärmeentwicklung und steigenden Temperaturen ausdehnt und den Schließteller in Schließstellung auf die Lufteintrittsöffnung drückt. <IMAGE>
