Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0732273A1] The applicator (1) for a viscous product (P) comprises a product reservoir (2) and a rigid applicator (4) having pores (5) in all directions. The applicator porosity is between 1 mu m and 500 mu m. The product has a viscosity chosen so that its passage through the pores by gravity and/or by capillary action is prevented. The product is compressed by a device (M1,M2) which produces a sufficient pressure to push it through the pores when distributing a dose. The first device of compressions (M1) comprises a piston (6) associated with a piston rod (8), having a thread (12), fixed to an activator (10). The piston rod thread screws into a complementary thread (14) on the piston. The second device of compression (M2) comprises a propellant gas and a distribution valve connected to the applicator.
