[origin: EP0732466A1] The staging has support feet (2) fixed to the sides of the frame members, also lower and upper cross-members. A girder (5) supporting the load platform is adjustable for height in the frame members, while the bottom cross-member is supported by a hydraulic ram (7). A further foot (2, 1) accommodates a travel wheel (8), and a fixing device is included for a working platform (9). The staging is one of several in a set and spaced apart, providing load and working platforms of the same and predetermined heights. The working height is continuously and evenly variable under load, using the rams. These are supplied by an external hydraulic unit with gear-type quantity distributor. Each ram has a valve for holding the load, this being typically in the end cover (10) of the ram cylinder. The travel wheel can be a twin one on a common axle, to avoid tipping sideways when in transit.
